Jacob A. Riis How the Other half LivesThis book talks about the immigrants in the early 1900s. The book describes how they locomote their daily lives in New York City. It helped me a lot on Riis photographs and his literary productions on to better understand the book and the harsh reality this batch lived. This comes to show us that life is not that easy and it will exist us work to succeed. Riis talked about all the immigrant major groups that came to the United States during this while period. Riis was a bit prejudice and stereotyped the people he wrote about. For slip he talked about he Italians as being gamblers and being torpid learners. He criticizes them as being dumb and that is the reason they were cheated on their kick in roll. They were told that by coming to America they would get pay...
