Zac Fertig English Period 5 Odysseus, the protagonist of the Odyssey by Homer fits the outline of an epic hero because he is courageous, quick-witted, and a natural draw. Odysseus isnt only kn knowledge for his muscles, likewise his gifted mind. He is one of the great heroes that possesses two brains and brawn. He is also a hero with outstanding skill and bravery. It is no wonder why legion(predicate) teachers refer to Odysseus as a powerful hero. I believe Odysseus is a hero because he is clever, can overcome obstacles, is very brave, a leader alone like all great heroes, he has his weaknesses. Some of Odysseus roughly recognizable traits are his bravery and leadership. One thing that shows his bravery was his evade from Polyphemus. He was courageous to stab out Polyphemuss eyes utilize a burning pole. Odysseus states I took my twelve best fighters and went ahead. This example involving the cyclops shows that one of Odysseus great traits is his leadership.
